Based on our survey data, we project the share of Americans who are looking for employment.
The TIPP Poll also asks the question: How concerned are you that in the next 12 months you or a member of your household might be laid off?
Respondents who say they are "Very Concerned" or "Somewhat Concerned" are part of our "Job Concerned Households" category.
Households with at least one member seeking employment (Job Seeking Households) and Job Concerned Households together are grouped as Job Sensitive Households.
