[Updated - August 2012] We complete ten years of monthly tracking polls for Investor's Business Daily. Each month we release our indexes on matters ranging from economy to morals.
The indexes range from 0 to 100 with 50 being the neutral reading. An index rating above 50 is optimisim or positive. Below 50 is pessimism or negative. For the presentation below, we average monthly values for the different years.
*2012 data is the average of index values for January through August.
