Contrary to prvailing public opinion, a federal court ruled Thursday against a Texas law that would require voters to show photo IDs at the polls.  In the latest IBD/TIPP Poll, three of every four (75%) believe voters should be required to show a photo ID at the polls.  This includes 55% of Democrats, 94% of Republicans and 80% of independents.  Only a majority of Democrats and liberals think voter ID requirement would disenfranchise Americans.
